"Francoys", Rouen January and Saint-Germain-en-Laye February [1522?], to the First President Jean de SELVE; countersigned by Florimond ROBERTET (the 1st by Nicolas de NEUFVILLE, the 6th by Robert GEDOYN); 1 page in-4 or in-fol. each, addresses. Rouen 17 January. He is warned "that under some circumstances my liberally made maistre Charles de LOUVIERS, and that against the truth it has been put forward that it is for thechapt of the office of my clerk adviser in my court of parliament"; he asks that by virtue of the letters of donation we receive Louviers in his office. Saint-Germain-en-Laye 5 February. He wants the Sieur de BOISY [Claude GOUFFIER] to be delivered without delay the letters of gift he has leased to him "to reward the money and the golden vessel that I took from my late cousin the grant maistre his father". 9 February. He asks to hasten the publication of his letters in the form of an edict "by which I exempt separe and eclipse from the jurisdiction of my prevost of Paris and civil lieutenant all the causes matieres and proces for the faict of the conservation of which he underlined and avoit accoustumé de congnoistre as curator of the aforesaid privilleiges, and cree ung bailly lieutenant and other officers for doresnavant en congnoistre"... 9 February. He urged "the publication of the said election of the twenty councillors that I have advised to put in my parliamentary court", in order to be able to appoint the persons who will occupy these offices. 10 February. It calls for the immediate publication of its edict creating twenty councillors in Parliament. 24 February. He urges the holding of the trial "between the vicon and lord of MONTFORT, the next of kin of my cousin the Duke of Guelders, and Yolande de LUXE MBOURG and her consorts in matters of partition"... February 28th. He summoned Selve and four councillors of the court of the Parliament, with the coins and bags of the trial, in order to inform him
