Autograph letter signed to her fi lle Solange CLESINGE -SAND, dated "Nohant, 1e 9bre 72". 4 pages in-8 on a folded sheet with the figure "GS" in cold. "So much the better that you are back on track, my poor fi llette. Glory to Mary!... Caillaud: I believe more in the marvelous virtue of his cooking than in the water from the Sallette." She gives news of her health. "Lolo [her granddaughter Aurore, Maurice's eldest daughter] has just been a little out of sorts, a movement of bile, a yellowing which fortunately did not turn into jaundice..." Maurice, Lina, and Titite [Gabrielle, known as] are doing well. "As for my play, it is delayed. [...] And then, the subsidy of the Odéon will be discussed again, and my play scares the ministry, they say. I wanted to withdraw it, they want to keep it, to perform it.
