BRAQUE Georges (1882-1963) Signed autograph ticket addressed to his "dear Scherwashitzé". Paris, January 31, 1925, 1 page in-12 in ink on serrated paper, address on the back. "We're going to work together again. I probably don't have the pleasure of telling you this. I'm sure Diaghilev has already told you what this is all about. I've already started work, only I'd like to have a construction of the Monte Carlo scene like the one you did for "Les Fâcheux". It made my work much easier [...]". Braque designed for Diaghilev and his Ballets Russes the sets and costumes for Les Fâcheux (1924) and Zéphyr et Flore (1925). A beautiful photographic portrait of Georges Braque dedicated "To Pierre Gant. GBraque. 1948" (235 x 168 mm).
