BRAQUE Georges (1882-1963) - Lot 15
BRAQUE Georges (1882-1963) Signed autograph letter addressed to a stranger. Varangeville, September 16, 1932, 2 pages in-4 in ink on paper (binder holes). Preparation of an exhibition. Braque is "very happy to see our projects in progress. The date of February seems a little close, but above all we must talk about it together before taking decisions". They will see each other in Paris, but that doesn't stop him from making progress on the project: "So as not to waste time, I'm already busy choosing the paintings [...]. I spoke with Ginstein, who is very interested and on whom we can count. In order to keep this exhibition as important as possible, I have decided not to exhibit in Zurich and it will be better that way [...]".
