Correspondence received by Armand GODOY concerning the Schuman Carnival: letters from A. SUARES, F. FENEON, C. FARRERE, etc. 1927], album in-4, 139 autograph letters signed in ink and 37 typewritten letters, various formats, half-maroquin garnet with corners, spine with 5 nerves titled gold (Canape). In 1927, Armand Godoy published in Le Manuscrit autographe a suite under this title, in which he transposed his musical impressions into verse. This volume brings together all the letters he received on this occasion. It contains 37 typed letters and 139 signed autograph letters or cards. Among them is a magnificent 6-page letter from Saint-Pol Roux, another one, very beautiful, from André Suarès, but also from Milosz, Alfred Cortot, Félix Fénéon, Claude Farrère, Tristan Klingsor, Gustave Kahn, Louis Barthou, Francis Viélé-Griffin, Francis Casadessus, and many others.
