A. & R. Maylander dor. 1964). 29] ff., of which the first and last white. First edition, published at the author's expense, of the first collection of poems by Pierre Louÿs. Limited edition of 100 numbered copies, this one of the 4 of the head edition on China paper (n° 1). It has been considerably enriched: - Sent autograph signed "to Maurice Quillot, this Madame l'Esthète". - Autograph poem addressed to Paul Valéry, December 1, 1890, presenting variants with its version published in Astarté, "les Filles du Dieu". - Autograph poem "À une nymphe de Diane", October 19, 1890. It will be published for the first time in 1928 in Poésies nouvelles. - L. A. S. de Pierre Louÿs to his brother Georges, August 7, 1891, 8 p. He describes the emotion that Parsifal gave him. - Autograph sonnet "Envoi" which will be published in the Revue blanche in 1893. - L. A. S. to André Gide, May 15, 1888, 1 p., with 3 p. of poem ("le Soir à la campagne"), dated April 6, 1888. - L. A. S. to Edmond Deman, Passy, January 27, 1892, 3 p. Louÿs wishes to publish this first collection of poems with this publisher.
