PÉGUY, Charles
Autograph manuscript. S. l., [circa 1900]. 6 p. in-8 (23 x 18.2 cm), shirt and half-marquin case (Alix). Autograph manuscript entitled "Cahier d'annonces". This manuscript is in the form of a mock-up for the layout and printing of a Cahier de la Quinzaine: Péguy reproduced the cover, with at the top of the page: "Deuxième cahier de la deuxième série", a title: "Cahier d'annonces" and at the bottom of the page the publication mentions: "Éditions des Cahiers, Paris, 16, rue de la Sorbonne, au second". In blue pencil, Péguy added some instructions for the printer: "as usual in exaggeratedly high and rather strong letters", "send me several models". This model was intended for the publication of an issue of the Cahiers de la Quinzaine, a magazine created by Charles Péguy in 1900. "In this publication, Charles Péguy became a journalist, columnist, writer, publisher, typographer, accountant... he was the "manager" of his Cahiers. He publishes his own works but also those of other more or less well-known authors. "(Les Cahiers de la Quinzaine, online.) BIBLIOGRAPHY: Les Cahiers de la Quinzaine, online: charlespeguy.fr/cahiers. Margin of the first page, some stains, small marginal tears, traces of folds, rubbed case.
