Le Goûter des généraux, autograph manuscripts and typescripts. 1951] - Autograph manuscript. 79 sheets in-4 in 3 stapled parts. - Second autograph manuscript in violet ink of the same importance. Some typescript pages with erasures and corrections. The title page is signed by Boris Vian and bears his address, the first page of the detached cover (the second one is missing) has a drawing and Boris Vian's autograph signature. - Typewritten in-4 of 105 pages with erasures and corrections by Boris Vian. One autograph page of notes. The autograph title page is dedicated to: my teddy bear (Ursula Kubler). - Typescript bearing Boris Vian's autograph corrections in purple ink. 69 pages in-4 stapled underneath with "Cornelius Nepo. L'avis des grands capitaines" (used cover)The front page bears in pencil in Boris Vian's hand: "to Vincent Auriol to console him for what this June pendant missed him in a very ugly way. The "Goûter des généraux", a lyrical and military tragedy in 3 acts". Boris Vian's coloured ink scribbles on the third cover plate. This burlesque play in which General Audubon asks his old mother for permission to invite other fellow generals to taste it was written by Vian in 1951 and was published after his death in 1962 by the College of Pataphysics.
