Mademoiselle Julie, by August Strinberg, autograph manuscript Circa 1950. 81 pages in-4 and in-8 in blue ink, with erasures and corrections. Full text of Boris Vian's translation of Strinberg's play "Mademoiselle Julie" which was performed in Boris Vian's translation on September 17, 1952 on the stage of the Babylon Theatre in Paris. The title of the manuscript is beautifully calligraphed by Boris Vian. The manuscript in blue ink includes erasures and corrections by his hand. Attached is the November 1952 "Paris Théâtre" booklet in which the full text of Vian's translation of "Mademoiselle Julie" and Boris Vian's "L'Équarrissage pour tous" is included.
