December 14, 1898: "You are really quite kind to think of us for a representation of Cyrano" . 13 February 1899, he repeated to his dear Cyrano their "gratitude of mind and heart" for a delicious evening... 2 January 1900: would his great and illustrious friend be free on Sunday 14th to dine with "a few good spirits"? February 23rd 1900, they count on him and Jean Coquelin for tomorrow at noon... 3 April 1900, they leave without admiring him in Jean Bart, since the dress rehearsal has been postponed; but as Jean Bart is going to be "a long triumph", they will go and applaud him next month... 9 November 1900, on his advice, he went to see "the great and charming artist"; he asked him to remind Mrs. Sarah BERNH ARDT of her "good promise"... 13 November 1902, retained at Palais de Justice he postpones their appointment until tomorrow, at Porte-Saint-Martin...
