Collection of engravings of great men of the Empire made Grand Eagle or Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. Paris, n.d. (1810) In-4, cardboard of red paper imitating morocco, fillet bordered with vine leaf rolls and rat's teeth in the frame, crowned monogram in the centre, smooth spine decorated, gilt edges (Binding of the period). Beautiful collection of 12 coloured engravings, portraits of dignitaries of the Empire. These engravings were made from portraits of the Parisian illustrator Meyer, active at the beginning of the 19th century. The National Library mentions her complete collection of all European sovereigns and modern illustrious men. Binding with the figure of Marie-Louise, Empress of the French . Small tear at the head of the bit.
