Meeting of 93 handwritten or typed telegrams, addressed to Jean Mermoz. 12-29 May 1930. Ens. 98 p. in-8 and in-4 (various sizes), most with letterheads from the "Cie des Câbles Sud-Américains", the "Repartição Geral dos Telegraphos" and the "Western Telegraph Company", ink and pencil of different colours. A very important set of 93 telegrams of congratulations sent to Mermoz after his first crossing of the South Atlantic on May 12-13, 1930. The journey was made from Saint-Louisdu-Senegal to Natal in Brazil, with Gimié and Dabry, on board the Comte de la Vaulx. Some telegrams are in duplicate or triplicate depending on the retransmission.
