DEGAS EDGAR (1834-1917).
L.A.S. "Degas", 8 March 1887, to Paul-Arthur CHÉRAMY; 2 1/2 pages in-8 (small cracks in folds repaired). It seems to me that I told you about a sum of 500 francs per completed painting that Mr. Faure had promised me in the past. I do not want to remind him of this offer. Mr. Faure has been my creditor too long. I made him wait too long not to leave it at that. Let us say nothing of this...
