"Dacier", and one P.S., Paris 1789-1829; 17 pages in-fol. and 12 pages in-4 or in-8, 6 on the letterhead of the Royal Academy of Inscriptions and Belles-Lettres with vignette and 2 from the King's Library (portrait enclosed). Palais royal 6 June [ca. 1775], about his approaches, with M. de FONCEMAGNE, in favor of Mlle Du Vivier: "the Miss is pretty enough to be well liked. I even know some very honest people who, for sure, would not ask for anything better than to do her some". He saw her, with Foncemagne and the abbot MABLY... July 21, 1789, to DU CHESNE, on the subject of "military antiquities of the Romans"... March 17, 1793, long letter tracing the life and the career of the citizen BRÉQUIGNY (1793). 13 messidor X (2 July 1802), to POUGENS concerning the history of England. 8 June 1810, to Alexandre LENOIR of the Musée Impérial des Monuments Français, asking for "some pieces of colored glass to decorate the window of my thatched cottage" 13 July 1819, thanking for the work on the poets and troubadours of RAYNOUARD 6 November 1821 He can only answer "to all the people who are concerned with the research of our antiquities" by his reports to the Minister and the circulars sent to the prefects for the scholars of their departments. The Academy did not open a competition: "It was indeed only charged to award three gold medals, of the value of 400 f each, to the three best memoirs on our antiquities" July 18, 1823, long report to the Academy of the Inscriptions by its commission of the antiquities of France, on the memoirs sent to the competition for the three gold medals granted to the best memoirs on the antiquities (extract of the minutes) August 16, 1824 to Alexandre du Mège, thanking for his work on the antiquities of the department of Tarn et Garonne February 12, 1823, to M.
