Napoléon Ier (1769-1821) 2 L.S., Paris 11 and 26 brumaire X [Nov. 2 and 17, 1801], to Consul CAMBACÉRÈS; the letters are written by Bourrienne; 1 and ¾ pages in-4, engraved vignettes with the name of Bonaparte I Consul of the Republic (foxing). [47, 48] [Malmaison] 11 brumaire. It would be thus convenient that the Ministers take each one their day, and that there is a certain uniformity in the manner of holding the assemblies"... 26 brumaire. He named Laforest "Minister Plenipotentiary in Bavaria"; Lavallette will replace him. General Durtubie could take Lavallette's place at the Caisse d'amortissement: "he has the necessary qualities", and his age does not allow him to remain in the artillery"...
