Records of English military personnel on St. Helena. General Staff (Lieutenant-General Lord Hudson LOWE, Knight of the Order of the Bath, Governor, Brigadier General G.K. Bingham, Knight of the Order of the Bath, etc.).); numerical lists of firefighters, artillerymen, light dragoons, staff corps, infantry battalions, classified by rank and position; nominal lists of craftsmen of the various corps (carpenters, sawyers, painters, masons, blacksmiths, wheelwrights, armourers, bricklayers, etc.); numerical lists of the various tradesmen (carpenters, sawyers, painters, masons, blacksmiths, wheelwrights, armourers, bricklayers, etc.).In the middle of the notebook, details of the horse guards, with the number of sentries provided by each guard, and details of the original corps and posts. On November 28, 1816, the 2nd Battalion of the 53rd Regiment provided NAPOLÉON's residence, Longwood House, with sentries (9 by day, 15 by night), 1 subordinate, 1 sergeant, 3 corporals, 1 drummer, 42 soldiers, and the 2nd Battalion of the 66th Regiment provided the Governor's residence, Plantation House, with 3 sentries by day and night, 1 sergeant, 1 corporal and 12 soldiers... Etc.
