WALDTEUFEL Émile (1837 - 1915) MUSICAL MANUSCRIT autograph "Émile Waldteufel", Bouff ées printanières (1897); 24 pages in-fol. Very rare manuscript of the French king of the waltz. This orchestral score of a suite of waltzes is written in black ink on 20-line paper, with variations in instrumentation in red ink; this manuscript served as a conductor, and was used for engraving. The orchestra includes: piccolo, large flute, oboe, 2 clarinets, bassoons, 4 French horns, 2 pistons, 3 trombones, ophicleide, timpani (and triangle), drums, and the string quintet. The score is divided as follows: Andantino (p. 1-2); Waltz No. 1, Grazioso (p. 3-7); No. 2 (p. 8-10); No. 3 (p. 11-13); No. 4 (p. 14-17); Coda (p. 18-24)
